So here's what we've been up to...

Shivani and her boyfriend, Michael, came up at the end of August for a weekend visit. We all had a great time, and Elissa was happy to have her Auntie around. (You'll see our pics from the planetarium.)

Elissa get a new toy stroller as a prize (after a trip to the Dr. when i dislocated her elbow) and she takes it everywhere. (These pics were taken at Temple Square.) She also loves to wear her dress-up shoes everywhere.

We spent part of Labor Day weekend in Park City at a timeshare that Cigi's boss (my Uncle Scott) scored for us. It was rainy, but great. (See the pic of Elissa, me, and the rainbow; and Daddy & Elissa riding the bus.)

Cigi & Elissa went to the lake with the Elder's quorum...see the pic of Elissa with mud all over her face.

Elissa and i went to the zoo last week with some friends from playgroup. (That's the pic with Elissa in her "shades".)

Elissa started her My Gym classes again, and although she doesn't like the warm ups and she hates the swings, she loves to hang and climb and slide, and does very well with both the structured and unstructured play.

And, most recently, we went to the State Fair this weekend (nothing like the LA county fair, but still good) and at one of the exhibits Elissa got to "be a farmer". She got to wear an apron and milk a fake cow and harvest some vegetables and brush a stuffed animal sheep. She loved it. And at the end she got to sell her goods and take her money to the "store" and get a treat!

We're bummed that summer's over (at least here in Utah) but are excited to be starting school again and looking forward to holidays!
